The Student Research Conference on Mathematics and Related Areas (SRCMRA) is a platform for both graduate and undergraduate students from the UAE and beyond to showcase their research, exchange ideas and engage in thought-provoking discussions in a formal conference environment. SRCMRA is a one-day event welcoming students from all majors who are involved in research initiatives, advancements, and innovations dependent on mathematical concepts and their applications.

About the speaker
Professor Dr. Joerg Osterrieder is Associate Professor of Finance and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, Professor of Sustainable Finance at Bern Business School in Switzerland, and Advisor on Artificial Intelligence to the ING Group's Global Data Analytics Team. He has more than 15 years of experience in financial statistics, quantitative finance, algorithmic trading and the digitization of the finance industry.
