A Data Detox in Time for Exams (November 2022)
In the lead up to exams, how can you find a better balance with your phone and take control of your digital well-being? The average person taps their phone over 2,600 times a day--that's high-maintenance! Does your phone know where you've been? Have you accidentally overshared on your socials? In this data detox workshop, we show you easy steps to find a better balance and to get a grip on the data you're sharing to find some equilibrium--a data detox in time for exams!
This is an in-person workshop and will be held in LIB 019, Ground Floor Library Building (refreshments and certificates provided)
Speakers
Kara Jones, AUS University Librarian ([email protected])
Alanna Ross, Associate University Librarian for Public Services ([email protected])
Ahmed Saad, AUS Library Student Assistant
Salman Sattar, AUS Library Student Assistant
