COP28 Speaker Series | Dr. Slim Saidi: Sustainability in the Augmented/Extended World: How to Leverage the Opportunities of the Multi-Verse Towards a More Sustainable Future

This lecture is part of the AUS COP28 Speakers Series, which aims to educate the AUS community on the climate change challenge, the role this change plays in shaping our environment and how these findings can facilitate organizations’ efforts to reduce their emissions and foster their climate commitments. The AUS COP28 Speaker Series is one of many initiatives undertaken by AUS to mark COP28, which will take place in Dubai later this year. About the speaker
Dr. Slim Saidi, is a Visiting Associate Professor in the AUS Department of Industrial Engineering. He carries a wealth of academia, operational and consulting experience in innovation, international strategy and management, having advised executives across the world on innovation, future trends, strategy, quality and business improvement. He has held a number of senior executive positions in government and private organizations across the Middle East and Africa and was a partner with the global management and strategy consultants, and contributed to the strategic transformation of many companies across the world. Prior to joining AUS, Dr Saidi has been associated with universities in Canada (Bishop’s University, Ecole Polytechnique), Tunisia (SUPCOM) and UAE (RIT, ADSM, UOWD and AGU).
Dr. Saidi is a judge, assessor and mentor in national, regional and international awards, like EFQM, SKEA, DQA, Gulf Sustainability Award, CEX award, Taqdeer Award and many others. His areas of expertise include: digital transformation, strategy articulation and implementation; customer experience; operational efficiency; cost optimization; supply chain strategy and operation; general board and executive advice; excellence programs and quality management.
