Renowned BBC journalist Jeremy Paxman to deliver talk at AUS (March 2014)
Award-winningBBC journalist and broadcaster Jeremy Paxman will deliver a talk on his latestbook at American University of Sharjah (AUS) on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at 11a.m. The event will be held at AUS.
Paxmanis a world renowned journalist who has presented BBC documentaries and popularprograms such as Newsnight, Panorama and University Challenge. Asa presenter he is well known for his forthright, tough and incisive style,especially when interviewing politicians. Paxman is also the bestselling authorof seven non-fiction books including The Political Animal, Empire, andThe English. His most recent book is Great Britain's Great War,which uses a variety of first-hand source material to show how life andidentity in Britain were transformed by the First World War.
