Position Summary
The Account Manager plays a key role in developing and managing employer relationships to expand internship and job opportunities for AUS students. The role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned employer accounts, ensuring strong engagement, excellent service delivery, and alignment with both student career goals and regional workforce needs.
Job Responsibilities
Employer & Industry Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with recruiters and industry representatives to promote AUS talent.
- Support the planning and execution of the AUS Career Fair, employer networking events, and on-campus recruitment activities.
Student & Career Development Support
- Serve as a bridge between employers and students by promoting opportunities, preparing students for recruitment processes, and providing feedback on industry expectations.
- Conduct information sessions, employer panels, and career workshops in partnership with the Career Services team.
- Track internship and employment placements, maintaining accurate data for reporting and continuous improvement.
Operational & Team Contribution
- Support the Career Services team in achieving strategic goals and KPIs.
- Prepare reports on employer engagement, internship placements, and recruitment outcomes.
- Ensure excellent client service standards in all employer and alumni interactions.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field: Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in account management, employer relations, career services, corporate partnerships, or recruitment.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with CRM systems for account tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge in career management systems (e.g., Handshake, Symplicity, or equivalent).
- Proficient in using social media and digital platforms for employer branding and student engagement.
- Background in organizing career fairs, recruitment events, or large-scale employer engagement initiatives.
- Proven track record in managing employer and client accounts across the UAE and GCC region
- Skilled in handling multiple employer accounts and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
