Teaching areas

At AUS, I taught the Preparatory Physics (PHY 001), General Physics I (PHY 101), General Physics II (PHY 102), and Physics for Architects (PHY 104). At Auburn University (AU), USA, I taught Engineering Physics I (PHYS 1600) and Engineering Physics II (PHYS 1610) recitations and laboratory. At Western Michigan University (WMU), USA, I taught University Physics I laboratory (PHYS 2050). At Cairo University, Egypt, I taught laboratory forElectronics and General physics I.

Research areas

My research focuses on studying atomic physics collision problems related to fusion and astrophysics applications. I study electron-ion recombination, electron impact ionization as well as single and double photoionzation. In my calculations I use many state-of-the art techniques such as AUTOSTRUCURE code, R-matrix and Time dependent Close coupling methods.
