  1. Mr. Muhammad Khan, BSCRG longest-serving researcher, has left the group to pursue a PhD study at the Energy and Bioproducts Research Institute (EBRI) - Aston University (UK).
  2. Dr. Makkawi was a member of discussion panel at the Global Forum on Innovations in Marginal Environments held in Dubai during 20-21 November 2019. Dr. Makkawi discussed the potentials of halophytes as a source of clean energy in the UAE. (Image 1, Image 2)
  3. BSCRG members visited the Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA) Refinery and laboratory in Abu Dhabi on 4 Dec 2019. (Image 1, Image 2)
  4. BSCRG wins large FRG fund worth AED 700.000 to develop novel solar-biomass hybrid bioenergy system.
