Profile

College / Department

Teaching areas

At AUS, I taught the Preparatory Physics (PHY 001), General Physics I (PHY 101), General Physics II (PHY 102), and Physics for Architects (PHY 104), and General Physics III (PHY106) . At Auburn University (AU), USA, I taught Engineering Physics I (PHYS 1600) and Engineering Physics II (PHYS 1610), recitations and laboratory courses. At Western Michigan University (WMU), USA, I taught University Physics I Laboratory (PHYS 2050). At Cairo University, Egypt, I taught laboratory for Electronics and General Physics I.

Research areas

My research focuses on studying atomic physics collision problems related to fusion and astrophysics applications. I study electron-ion recombination, electron impact ionization as well as single and double photoionization. In my calculations, I use many state-of-the-art codes such as AUTOSTRUCTURE code, R-matrix and Time-dependent Close coupling methods.
