Abstract:
Bent functions form the class of Boolean functions that are farthest away from linear functions, hence the name. They play an important role in cryptography and combinatorics. The subclass of self-dual bent functions is classified here for small degrees and number of variables. Joint works with Claude Carlet and Matthew Parker.
