The Turkey-GCC partnership has gained momentum since 2008 when the foreign ministers of the GCC declared Turkey as a strategic partner for the first time in their meeting in Jeddah, allowing Turkey and the GCC countries to be able to build institutionalized relations with each other. The study will explain Turkey's trade-based foreign policy and contemporary Turkey-GCC relations.
