NGN 110 Competition: Toothpick Boat (November 2018)

The 430 freshman students in the course NGN 110 Introduction to Engineering and Computing will put their engineering skills to the test in this boat-building competiton.
The goal is to build a boat made only out of toothpicks and glue that can carry a 0.5L (75% filled) water bottle without sinking. The bottle will be dropped from 25cm from the highest point of the boat. The lightest boat wins.
