AUS Alumni Association (AUSAA)

Home  >  Alumni Association

With chapters established all around the world, the AUS Alumni Association (AUSAA) is the glue that holds together our ever-growing family of alumni.

As the official body comprising all AUS alumni, our purpose is to connect and reconnect graduates with the university through meaningful events and experiences, such as annual class reunion dinners and career forums.

We are the primary through which AUS alumni participate in and contribute to the ongoing life of AUS, helping our members in fulfilling their responsibility to enhance the growth and development of their university.

As one of the first alumni associations of its kind in the region, we are extremely proud of the fact that all our operations are governed by our Constitution and By-Laws, which were endorsed by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah and President of AUS, as well as the university's Board of Trustees.

According to our Constitution, any person who graduated from AUS is a member of AUSAA. Anyone who has earned a minimum of 75 undergraduate credit hours or 18 graduate credit hours and who has not attended AUS for three years since their last course is also considered a member. In addition, any individual who has made substantial contributions to the welfare of AUS, its alumni or AUSAA may be awarded an honorary membership by our board.

Though the principal location of our operations and place of business is the AUS campus, we are always interacting with our fellow members through our various chapters around the UAE, Middle East and beyond.

We urge you to contact us should you wish to get in touch with your nearest AUSAA chapter. Or, if you are a member of the AUSAA and wish to start up your own chapter, please send an email to [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you!
