Mohamed Khadiri
Mr. Mohamed Khadiri is the Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Sharjah, a role he assumed in May 2023 to lead the bank’s strategic transformation. Under his leadership, the bank is focused on strengthening its market position, enhancing operational performance, and elevating customer experience.
With over 26 years of experience in corporate and investment banking across the United States, the Middle East, and North Africa, Mr. Khadiri has held senior leadership positions at some of the world’s leading financial institutions, including Salomon Smith Barney, Citibank, Barclays, and HSBC. Throughout his career, he has spearheaded the development and implementation of growth strategies, customer-centric innovations, and digital transformation initiatives.
Prior to joining Bank of Sharjah, Mr. Khadiri served for over six years as General Manager of Kuwait International Bank, where he played a pivotal role in driving the bank’s domestic and international expansion. In addition to his executive responsibilities, he is a member of the Board of Advisors at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), where he contributes strategic insights to support entrepreneurship and innovation in the UAE and beyond.
Mr. Khadiri holds an MBA in Finance and Information Technology from Boston College, where he was a Fulbright Scholar. He also earned an MSc in Finance from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree with highest honors in Business Administration and Accounting from the Institut Supérieur de Commerce et d’Administration des Entreprises (ISCAE) in Casablanca, Morocco.
