Dr. Ahmed Hanafy Ibrahim is an Assistant Professor and Ph.D. Mechanical Engineer with over 16 years of hybrid experience in academia (American University of Sharjah, University of Waterloo) and the oil & gas industry (Baker Hughes). His expertise is in experimental and computational solid mechanics, focusing on advanced materials and joining technologies for industrial applications, leading to collaborations with partners like 3m, Honda and Renault. A proven academian and a leader who published in top-tier journals, managed engineering teams, and driven significant business growth .
