Professor Aqeel Mohammed Taher

Professor of Practice

Aqeel Ahmed has been with AUS since 2000. He has more than 30 years of working experience in academia and industry. He has been working with multidisciplinary fields of geo-technical, structural'and environmental engineering including software development, web designing, development, supervision of civil engineering laboratories and earthquakes monitoring systems. He received the Best Civil Engineering Staff (Instructor) Award from the AUS Student Council and Teaching Excellence Award for Undergraduate Teaching by AUS College of Engineering. He has also received the Service Excellence Award by the AUS College of Engineering.
