Dr. Ghassan Zaki Qadah

Associate Professor

PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Michigan/Ann Arbor, USA

Ghassan Qadah has taught in computer science and engineering departments at institutions such as Northwestern University, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich and American University of Sharjah. He also worked at AT&T/Lucent Technologies Bell Labs. His area of research and teaching interests are programming, traditional and non-traditional database systems, serial and parallel algorithms, information retrieval, data mining and machine learning in health informatics. Dr. Qadah has served as a symposium chair, track chair and a member of technical program committees of international conferences. He has presented tutorials worldwide and published many journals and conference papers. Dr. Qadah holds a patent for his work on Voice-over-IP (VOIP) at Lucent’s Bell Labs.
