Fares Al-Shargie worked with the research and development group of Hitachi. Ltd, Japan. Dr. Fares Al-Shargie is interested in performing neuroimaging research using EEG, Eye Tracking and fNIRS, and developing new data analysis methods. Dr. Fares is currently working as a visiting Postdoctoral Fellow aiming to improve cognitive vigilance by developing an objective enhancement technique.
Dr. Rabah Al abdi
Dr. Rabah Al abdi has more than 9 years of experience in teaching biomedical and electrical engineering courses in Jordan University of Science and Technology. He holds a joint PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and New York University. He had been a visiting scholar doing research at Harvard Medical School in 2018, where he developed an optical imaging system to detect breast cancer. He has introduced novel ways of investigating variability in mechanical and hemodynamic responses of breast tissue under mammographic-like compression, to enhance the detection of breast tumor in its earliest stages. Dr. Al abdi is currently working as a visiting scholar at the American university of Sharjah (AUS). His research activities at AUS focus on the development of diffuse optical imaging for the diagnosis and monitoring of peripheral artery disease and diabetic foot syndrome.
