Dr. Salam Dhou's areas of expertise include machine learning, data mining, computer vision, biomedical imaging and informatics. Prior to joining AUS she was a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Missouri, St. Louis, USA. She worked also as a post-doctoral research fellow for three years in the School of Medicine at Harvard University where she published and participated in multiple research projects. Dr. Salam is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Computer Society, and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).
