Dr. Khaldoon Mhaidat

Dr. Khaldoon Mhaidat received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) in 1999, M.S. in electrical and computer engineering from Oregon State University in 2002, and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Oregon Graduate Institute at OHSU in 2006. He is currently an associate professor at JUST and was a visiting associate professor at Prince Sumaya University for Technology. He is a reviewer and committee member for international conferences and journals, and served as General Co-Chair of IDT’15. He received the IBM Faculty Award and IEEE Computer Society TTTC Continuous Service Award. His interests include VLSI, parallel computing, cryptography, computer vision, and AIoT.
