Riem Ibrahim co-founded Dubai-based Mobius Design Studio, where she works on commissioned design projects as well as self-initiated research. Her research is focused on challenging static identities of typography and extends to include participation in and creation of a critical discourse around the processes and role of design as a practice in the region. Most recently, she received the Type Directors Club Award for her work 'Behaving/Kinetic Typography."
