Mr. Seth Thompson

Associate Professor

Seth Thompson has taught university-level classes since 2001, beginning with the University of Akron. Thompson's research interests and practice primarily focus on the interpretation and representation of visual culture and heritage using panoramic imaging and hypermedia systems. Media art history with special emphasis on the panorama plays an integral role in this theoretical and practice-based investigation. Prior to his academic career at American University of Sharjah, he was an educator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Akron Art Museum and Education Director at Harvestworks Digital Media Arts in New York City.
