Dr. Zena Shakra

Zena Abu Shakra is an assistant professor who has taught courses in the areas of writing, applied linguistics, research, and sociolinguistics at the American University of Beirut, The Lebanese American University, Haigazian University, The Open Arab University, The Gulf University for Science and Technology, and The American University of Sharjah. She has also held administrative roles as Head of the English Department for 4 years at The Arab Open University (Beirut branch) and as Writing Program Director for 2 years at the Gulf University for Science and Technology in Kuwait.
