Leadership Cabinet

Dr. Salah Brahimi
Dr. Salah Brahimi brings to AUS a global perspective and unique ability to foster impactful collaboration across governments, industries and academic institutions. Prior to joining AUS, he served as President and CEO of the Washington, DC-based Grey Matter LLC, a global multi-sector boutique business and consulting firm. He also brings over a decade of leadership experience from the World Bank, where he led multilateral trust fund portfolios in environmentally and socially sustainable development, earning multiple performance and leadership awards. Additionally, he serves on the European Union’s Research and Technology for Development Framework Program’s Expert Peer-Review Panel and is active on several corporate and philanthropic boards.
Dr. Brahimi holds postgraduate credentials from Harvard Business School and has advised governments, industries and institutions across a wide range of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, technology and education.
Holding a PhD in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, he has taught at leading universities in the US, Europe and the Middle East and has developed interdisciplinary graduate and postgraduate curricula in areas such as AI, global business and sustainable development. He remains actively involved in cutting-edge research across industrial technologies.
