PHotoESPAÑA Best Photography Book of the Year in First Publication (winners not yet announced), PHotoESPAÑA and La Fábrica, Best Photography Book of the Year Award, organized by PHotoESPAÑA since 1998 to recognize excellence in photographic publishing. Once again, PHotoESPAÑA reaffirms its commitment to photography by recognizing the fundamental role the publishing industry plays in the dissemination of the medium. In its 2026 edition, the award will recognize the excellence of photography books published between March 1, 2025 and March 1., May 2026

D&AD Awards Wood Pencil in Book Design, D&AD, For over 60 years, the D&AD Awards have set the standard for work that moves culture and challenges the creative industries to do better. Since 1962, D&AD Pencils have defined careers, opened doors and earned winners global recognition. These awards uncover and celebrate truly exceptional work that redefines what’s possible in the creative industries. APhF Book Program Pick Award (winner not yet announced), APhF Athens Photo Festival, The APhF Pick:26 Book Award is an annual juried competition open to all photobooks worldwide that were produced or published between January 2025 and March 2026. For this competition, οne artist will be presented with the APhF Pick:26 Book Award. 10 photobooks will be featured in the APhF:26 print catalog, 20 photobooks will be shortlisted and exhibited at the Benaki Museum / Pireos 138 during APhF:26 in Athens, from 10 June to 26 July 2026. All photobooks will be available at the APhF Library., 8 May 2026

(Kassel) Dummy Award, The PhotoBookMuseum, MAS Matbaa, The Dummy Award, formerly known as the Kassel Dummy Award, is the international competition for the best unpublished photobook dummies of the year. Starting 2023 the PhotoBookMuseum, Cologne together with its sponsor and partner MAS Matbaa; Istanbul has taken over the award and will lead it into a bright future., 2024

LUMA Rencontres Dummy Book Award, Les Rencontres de la Photographie d'Arles, Since 2015, the Rencontres d’Arles has offered an award supporting the publication of a dummy book. This prize, with a production budget of €25,000, is open to any new photographer or artist using photography, submitting a previously unpublished dummy book. Svenska Fotobokspriset 2021 for the design of The House My Grandfather Built by Xenia Nikolskaya, Svenska Fotografers Förbund, The Swedish Photo Book Award was established in 1996 to recognize and stimulate quality photo book publishing. In 2026, the award was awarded for the 30th time.
