Edris Al Rafi
Mr. Edris Al Rafi is the Chief Executive Officer of Invest Bank and has more than 25 years of experience in investment, commercial banking, corporate finance and asset management. At Invest Bank, he is leading a transformation focused on strengthening capital efficiency, expanding the bank’s loan book and advancing digital banking innovation.
Before joining Invest Bank, Mr. Al Rafi served as Head of Middle East and Africa at Aberdeen Investments, part of Aberdeen Group, a global asset manager operating across public and private markets. He previously served as Head of Goldman Sachs UAE and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding.
Across these roles, he has managed multibillion-dollar balance sheets, led regional and global growth initiatives and directed large, multidisciplinary teams. His experience spans domestic and international capital markets, risk and compliance, investment strategy, high-value portfolios and large-scale financial transactions. He is an advocate of data-driven decision-making, sustainable investment practices and long-term value creation.
Mr. Al Rafi has served on several boards and executive committees, advising financial institutions, investment firms and multinational corporations on institutional growth and financial strategy. He is a UAE national and holds a degree in finance and accounting.
