The School of Business Administration presents the Third Annual From Ideas to Breakthroughs.
Three ideas, three companies and three AUS success stories.
Presenters:
Munir Badr, AEserver
He is the founder of AEserver, an Internet venture that deals with website hosting and domain names. Founded in his bedroom when Badr was a freshman, AEserver quickly grew into an established business and today, AEserver is a major player in the web industry. It is ranked the third largest .ae registrar globally by the TRA of UAE.
Ghadir ElGhafri, Fresh to Door
She is a very passionate young entrepreneur, speaker, trainer and business consultant who inspired hundreds of people by her successful business journey. She has participated in Sharjah Startup Weekend 2012, OpenThinking Day 2013 and PechaKucha. Also, she shared her story in the Interactive Session with Women Entrepreneurs in the SME World Summit 2014.
Zhora Qureshi, Zo's Kitchen
She is a 24-year-old journalist and presenter at Dubai Eye Radio, originally from Northern Ireland. She has lived in the UAE for 10 years, and completed a BA at AUS and an MA in television journalism at Goldsmiths University of London. She is the Founder of and baker at Zo's Kitchen, a startup bakery serving afternoon tea desserts.
