Workshop on Promoting Mathematics in the UAE: New Directions and Trends (May 2023)
As part of our continuous efforts to promote mathematics in the local community, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at AUS is pleased to offer a one-day workshop to school mathematics teachers. This workshop provides participants an opportunity to share peer-to-peer creative ideas on creating positive math culture in the classroom and further enhance teaching skills. A particular attention will be given to statistics and data science. Participants will receive a certificate upon completing the workshop. To register, interested high school teachers can contact the organizers directly via email ([email protected]). There is no registration fee.
