Omar Saif Ghobash
His Excellency Omar Saif Ghobash is a distinguished Emirati diplomat, author and cultural advocate whose work has shaped international dialogue and strengthened the UAE’s global engagement. He currently serves as Advisor to the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and as the country’s Ambassador to the Holy See, where he plays a key role in advancing diplomatic relations and fostering intercultural understanding.
Over the course of his career, His Excellency has represented the UAE in prominent international postings, including as Ambassador to the Russian Federation and Ambassador to France. Throughout these roles, he has been recognized for championing cultural diplomacy, deepening international cooperation and building meaningful bridges between the UAE and the global community.
Beyond diplomacy, His Excellency is widely known for his influential book Letters to a Young Muslim, acclaimed for its thoughtful reflections on identity, faith and the modern world. The book has been translated into multiple languages and continues to inspire readers worldwide.
