Due to the current situation in the United Arab Emirates, the AUS Testing Center is not offering iBT exams at AUS. Please note that any scheduled examinations might be suspended based on directives from the UAE Ministry of Education. |
AUS is an ETS-authorized TOEFL iBT® Test Center.
ETS is temporarily offering the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition test. The test is identical in content, format and on-screen experience to the TOEFL iBT test taken at a test center. It is taken on your own computer at home and is monitored by a human proctor online through ProctorU® .
The test has four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing.
The total test takes about 3 hours to complete, but you should plan for 3½ hours, allowing 30 minutes for check in.
Applicants must attain a minimum score of 80 or above for undergraduate and graduate admission.
For test registration, please click here.
The test fee is $240.
Test takers receive results approximately 6-10 days after your test.
The TOEFL iBT® tests all four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. It is internationally accepted for university admission. The test may take up to 4.0 hours to complete (up to 4.5 hours at the test center). The AUS score reporting code is 0526.

An original, valid and signed passport or UAE National ID are the only acceptable identification documents for IBT testing.
To verify your TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition / iBT score, please submit a copy of your score report by logging in to http://infodesk.aus.edu.
Alternatively, AUS applicants may arrange for original iBT score reports to be sent directly from ETS to AUS Testing Center. This can be done by logging in to the test provider portal and choosing the relevant AUS test center code: 0526.
