Dr. Ghada Alobaidi

Associate Professor

PhD, Western University, Canada

Ghada Alobaidi is an Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics at the American University of Sharjah. She completed her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at the Western University in London, Ontario, Canada in June 2001. Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor of Education with distinction in the Intermediate/Senior division from Western University in Mathematics and Computer Science in June 1996. Before joining AUS, Ghada Alobaidi taught mathematics at various post-secondary institutions such as Trent University, Peterborough, Canada and the University of Regina, Regina, Canada. Her research interests include ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, fluid mechanics, option pricing models and mathematics education.
