Dr. Lucy Tawidian

Assistant Professor

Dr. Lucy Tavitian-Elmadjian is a cross-cultural psychologist with a PhD from Tilburg University. Her work focuses on how members of minority groups manage social identity threat, and acculturate as a function of both firsthand and remote contact particularly within multicultural and under-researched contexts. She has taught and conducted research at several Lebanese universities and has contributed to a number of peer-reviewed publications and collaborative research projects. In addition to her academic work, Dr. Tavitian-Elmadjian has supervised numerous graduate theses and is committed to mentoring students and supporting ethical and inclusive research practices within her academic community.
