Dr. Salma Thani

PhD, Monash University, Australia

Salma Thani taught courses in international studies, history and intercultural studies at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. She has written broadly on sport, tourism and aviation development in the UAE. Her research is directed towards studying the Arabian Gulf State’s increasing political, economic and diplomatic roles in the world. Dr Thani’s research extends to examine the role of culture, history and foreign influences in shaping the political economy of the Gulf States.
