Department of Electrical Engineering

Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering!

The Department of Electrical Engineering (ELE) at the AUS College of Engineering (CEN) offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering. Our popular undergraduate program is a 140-credit degree that leads to a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). Our program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org, in the United States and by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Our Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) degree-which began in 2008- is a 30-credit program with a strong emphasis on research. 

Both these programs are based on a solid foundation of science and mathematics so crucial to understanding the advanced engineering topics and applications of today's fast-paced world. We have designed the curricula with the aim of providing a wide spectrum of knowledge and experience based across key areas of this dynamic discipline.
