Home  >  Instructions for FE Exam Online Registration

AUS students should register for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam online through the American University of Sharjah Testing Center.

Steps to Apply

  • First, applicants must create a profile on the NCEES website (https://account.ncees.org) and pay the US$ 175 fee to NCEES. The fee covers registration, administration of the exam, scoring of the exam, and distribution of the results and related materials.
  • Second, to submit the AUS FE Exam registration request, please go to https://banner.aus.edu and log in to Web Enabled Interface for Students using your AUS email username and password. Once logged in, go to Student Services, and then go to Testing Center Registration to view the test schedule. Choose your test date and submit the registration request. Then proceed with the payment of AED 250  (subject to 5% VAT) for AUS approval.
  • Lastly, once you have been approved by AUS and NCEES, you will receive an email notification. At this time, you must register for the test date at https://account.ncees.org. Qualified applicants must complete the online registration process in order to take the examination.
  • Approximately two weeks prior to the exam date, applicants who have registered through the NCEES website will be able to log in to the website and print a copy of the NCEES appointment confirmation that is essential to gain entrance to the exam site.

Test Day Admission Policy

Examinees will be required to present a current, government issued ID upon arrival at the AUS Testing Center. Acceptable forms of ID must be government issued and include a valid expiration date, your name and date of birth, a recognizable photo and your signature. Your name must be written in English.
