Dr. Anna Valerie Dolidze

Professor

Dr. Anna Dolidze holds The Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi Chair in Women's Leadership. Dr. Dolidze has straddled academia and practice, researching, teaching, and practicing international law and policy. She has served as Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Georgia, Vice-Chair of the U.S.-Georgia Strategic Partnership Commission, and Chief Lawyer to the President of Georgia. In 2018, she was appointed to the High Council of Justice, where she oversaw judicial reform. From 2020 to 2023, Dolidze established a political party and led two election campaigns. In October 2024, she was elected to Parliament but resigned in protest of Georgia’s authoritarian turn.
