Residence on campus is optional and is only available for full-time undergraduate students who have paid or arranged for the payment of their room, tuition and other university fees. Other student categories may be considered depending on the availability of rooms. Accommodation ranging from private rooms to double rooms is available.
Complete housing information can be found here.
In order to apply as an exchange student at AUS, a student must meet the following eligibility requirements:
The TOEFL/IELTS requirement can be waived for students (1) who have taken two English writing courses (in university) and passed both with a B or higher; and (2) who are applying from universities in the US, UK or Canada. However, if there is any doubt regarding the student's English-language abilities at any point during the admission process (based on spoken or written communications), they may be asked to take a TOEFL exam upon arrival to AUS campus and will need to achieve the required scores in order to maintain enrollment.
Please note that eligibility requirements are different for graduate students. Contact email@example.com for more information.
For an application to be considered complete, the following documents need to be submitted:
Study abroad students returning to their home university from AUS at the end of the fall semester will be allowed to miss no more than the last week of AUS classes. Please check our Academic Calendar for dates and make sure the timing will work with your home university.
Students remain fully responsible for all material covered during the fall semester at AUS, but also AUS faculty are required to accommodate their earlier departure (adhering to the above policy) in those cases where students can document a conflict with the start of the spring semester at their home university.
