ADNOC trainees complete English course at AUS
The Achievement Academy Outreach Program at American University of Sharjah (AUS) held its Spring 2016 certificate ceremony for 18 employees of ADNOC who completed a Distribution English program from April 3 to May 26, 2016.
The trainees, who were all staff members from ADNOC Distribution, completed an eight-week, 250-hour program of English in the pre-intermediate level.
Speaking on the occasion, Lina Hejjawi, Outreach Manager at the AUS Achievement said, "We are really happy to conduct ADNOC Distribution employees' training. We have heard from their supervisors and managers that they feel more confident using the language after training with us and we look forward to having more of them in the future."
"This semester, we have added more customized English courses just to support the needs of the trainees. These include reading circle, business communication, daily math, emailing and telephoning. I would like to thank all the instructors and committee members who helped in the students' success," added Hejjawi.
This was the fifth certificate ceremony with ADNOC Distribution and was part of the AUS's mission to engage with organizations across the Emirates.
