AUS Chancellor attends Qatar University Board of Regents meeting

Dr. Peter Heath Chancellor of American University of Sharjah attended in Doha, Qatar today, Monday, October 17, the meeting of the Board of Regents of Qatar University. The AUS Chancellor is a member of the Board of Regents of Qatar University and also serves as a member of its Executive Committee.

Headed by H.H. Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Heir Apparent of Qatar, the Board of Regents is the highest authority at Qatar University, overseeing the university's policies and operations.

Established in 1973, Qatar University is a major institution of higher education in Qatar, comprising seven colleges of Education, Arts and Sciences, Sharia & Islamic Studies, Engineering, Law, Pharmacy, and Business and Economic.
