AUS honors employees in its Chancellor’s Award Ceremony

American University of Sharjah (AUS) held its 16th Annual Chancellor's Award Ceremony recently at the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club.

The recipients of the 2013 Chancellor's Awards were Haji Mohamed Ansar, Mohammad Braik and Maha Jibril. Honorable mentions were given to Ali Thuppilikat, Rana Kumar, Shahid Nadeem, Sunil Kuttichi, Jinane Khatib and Estrella Atong.

Dr. Thomas J. Hochstettler, AUS Acting Chancellor, presented special plaques to employees who have completed 15 years of service at AUS. These included Choppala Raju, Farrokh Zarnigar, Jabbar Hanneefa, Kevin Mitchell, Mazhar Iqbal, Mohamed Jan, Mohamed Kassim Ahamed, Mohamed Otmani, Mohammad Azad Khan, Mohammed Behlim, Mohammed Khan, Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, Muhammed Hassim, Nadia Ibrahim, Paula Doyle, Poosai Sekar, Raja Subramanya, Rana Kumar, Reem Al Alami, Saeed Al Shamsi, Shahid Nadeem Khan, Thikra AbdulKarim, Venmani James, Virgilio Mateo and Ziad Nasser.
