AUS number one in business subjects according to U.S.News ranking

American University of Sharjah (AUS) has ranked number one in the subject areas of business, management and accounting, based on its research in the field, according to the latest U.S.News ranking of universities in the Arab region.

The university was also ranked number one in economics and finance, while placing at number six in arts and humanities. Eleven indicators were used to calculate the rank, including academic and employer reputation, publications and citations.

Overall, AUS is ranked at number 21 this year, coming up from 45th place last year.
