AUS students participate in Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2012
A delegation from American University of Sharjah (AUS) participated in the Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2012 at Kuala Lumpur's Sepang International F1 Circuit from July 4-7. Shell Eco-marathon is a unique competition that challenges students to design, build and drive the most energy-efficient car. High school and college students from around the world use their knowledge of science and engineering to create ultra-energy efficient futuristic cars.
This is the first time the event witnessed participation from universities in the Middle East with 119 teams from all over Asia and the Middle East in the competition.
