AUS teams excel in the Ninth UOWD Sports Festival

AUS teams took first place in women's basketball and second place in men's indoor soccer and women's table tennis at the Ninth University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) Intercollegiate Sports Festival held November 18-22. 

The AUS teams competed with athletes from universities across the UAE in men's and women's table tennis, men's indoor soccer and women's basketball. AUS teams proved to be very competitive. 

"We encourage our athletes to get the maximum benefit from such intercollegiate festivals in order to increase their experiences," said Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.
