Eight student clubs gather for Iftar
To keep the Ramadan spirit alive during this holy month, eight student-sponsored clubs from the university's Office of Student Affairs (OSA) gathered at the cafeteria in the Student Center on June 13 for an Iftar. The participating clubs were the Bangladeshi, Emirati, Indian, Iraqi, Jordanian, Pakistani, Palestinian and Syrian Cultural Clubs. More than 300 students attended the event.
"It is heartwarming to see our students joining efforts for a worthwhile event during this holy month. Our students worked together and prepared well for this special gathering with the aim of sharing this blessed moment with their peers. I wish everyone a peaceful and blessed Ramadan," said Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, Dean of Students.
Ramadan Iftars on campus are a tradition of student clubs and organizations to promote the spirit of sharing and giving during the holy month of Ramadan.
