Leopard claim seven first-place trophies at GMU tournament
The AUS Leopards took the top prize in seven categories at the Gulf Medical University (GMU) Sports Festival 2016 held March 5-13 in Ajman.
AUS won first place in men's and women's swimming and tennis, men's squash, men's badminton and women's basketball. Twenty-seven universities and colleges from across the UAE participated in this tournament.
Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, AUS Dean of Students, congratulated the winners. "We are very happy for your great achievement during this competition. Tournaments such as this are important in order to facilitate student interactions as well as to provide them a platform to exhibit their sports talent," she said.
