SLP students take part in the Global Aerospace Summit 2016

Four students from the Student Leadership Program (SLP) at American University of Sharjah (AUS) participated in the Future Leaders Program strategy session during the third Global Aerospace Summit organized by Mubadala Development Company held March 7- 8, 2016 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

The sessions focused on career-oriented topics in an attempt to prepare promising and dedicated young students to be the future leaders within the industries of aerospace and defense, aviation and space. In addition, students had the opportunity to interact with leading industry professionals and leaders across all sectors of the aerospace and aviation realms during an informal dialogue.

"From what I saw and experienced in the Global Aerospace Summit, I really realized that the 'sky has no limit' especially when I look at today's advanced technology," said Amira Al Suwaidi, senior student majoring in finance.

"SLP encourages students to participate in local opportunities to allow them to network and learn from professionals in the field of leadership. Students had a fruitful experience at the summit and got to appreciate how technology transformed our world," said Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, Dean of Students.
