Sultan meets with Patriarch of Antioch and All the East

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah, and President of American University of Sharjah (AUS), received His Beatitude John X, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and his accompanying delegation yesterday, May 14, at at his office in AUS.

The Sharjah Ruler welcomed the religious leader to the emirate and said the visit would help bolster friendship, peace and brotherhood in the region. Sheikh Dr. Sultan exchanged views on mutual cooperation and as well as on ways to extend avenues of knowledge communication between followers of various religions and cultures.
