MCM students attend launch of Google Digital Skills Program
The Department of Mass Communication organized a field trip to Dubai Google on Monday, April 16 to attend the launch of Google’s “Maharat min Google” program that seeks to build and enhance digital skills in Arabic the MENA region. Students took part in all the events' activities, including three professional presentations by Matt Brittin, President of EMEA business and operations, Alfonso De Gaetano, director of Google global partnerships and Tarek Abdalla, regional head of marketing at Google. They also attended a workshop on digital advertising and received certificates of participation.
