AUS Emirati Club hosts talk with Federal National Council speakers
The Emirati Cultural Club at American University of Sharjah (AUS) hosted a talk on October 1 that featured Federal National Council speakers at the university. The guest speakers included Hamad Al Rahoomi, Shaikha Al Owais, Mona Al Bahar and Faisal Al Tunaiji.
The talk was a first-of-its kind event organized by a student club at AUS and provided students with a chance for an open discussion with the distinguished speakers. The students gained insight about the functions and roles of the Federal National Council as they engaged in an open discussion with the speakers who answered all their questions in detail.
"I thank our honorable guests for sharing their time and knowledge with our students," said Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. "I am proud of our students from the Emirati Cultural Club as they reflect a generation of patriotic and responsible youth concerned about their country's affairs," said.
Also present were Salem Al Qaseer, Vice Chancellor for Public Affairs; Mohammed Juma Bin Hindi, President of the Sharjah Advisory Council; and other senior officials from AUS and the Sharjah government.
