AUS Visiting Authors Week
American University of Sharjah (AUS) recently hosted several prominent writers at its campus during its Visiting Authors Week. The writers were in the emirate for the Sharjah International Book Fair held November 5-15, 2014.
The writers who visited the AUS campus included Kamila Shamsie, Douglas Preston, Ambassador Husain Haqqani, Frank Gardner, Saba Imtiaz, Christopher Kloeble, Humera Afridi, Qaisra Shahraz, Grant Clauser, Justin Marozzi, Raymond Khoury, Chandrahas Choudhury, Tabish Khair, Randa Abdel-Fattah, A. Igoni Barrett, Yasmina Khadra, Natalie Handal, K. Anis Ahmed, Asli Perker, Saladin Ahmed and Romesh Gunesekera.
The lectures were organized by the AUS Department of English in collaboration with the Sharjah International Book Fair.
