SBA student participates in the Global Leadership Summit
An American University of Sharjah (AUS) student from the School of Business Administration (SBA) attended the Beta Gamma Sigma Global Leadership Summit (GLS) in Dallas, USA, held from November 3 to 6, 2016. Nazla Anwar, a management information systems major, participated in the conference which aims to cultivate leadership development and celebrate ethical leaders.
The two-day conference focused on introducing the participating members to Beta Gamma Sigma and encouraging them to share their ideas and thoughts. The event included different sessions that focused on the participating students' individual strengths and making them more effective.
"I thoroughly enjoyed each day at the summit and found the experience enlightening and inspiring. It was motivating to engage with such brilliant students from across the world and it also improved my understanding of different cultures. It gave me the opportunity to understand what my inner talents are and what I need to do to make them my strengths," said Nazla.
"I encourage more students from SBA to attend this summit next year as it is a truly valuable experience," she added.
